Chairman’s Message
Every business draws its strength from the community it serves. At JRS Eastman, giving back is not a programme — it is a principle. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility, we are committed to building lives, restoring ecosystems, and creating opportunity where it is needed most. Because progress that does not uplift people is not progress at all.
Shri Jagdish Rai Singal
Founder & Chairman, JRS Eastman Group

- Beneficiaries: 400 individuals

With a contribution of ₹17.5 lacs, the initiative delivers prosthetic limbs alongside vocational training, ensuring physical mobility translates into economic mobility.
- Beneficiaries: 300 prosthetic limbs distributed
- Partner: Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur
- Contribution: ₹17.5 lacs

Women trained under Sapno Ki Sawari are now navigating their own paths, literally and financially. Launched in July 2021 by the Darshana Singal Foundation, the CSR arm of Eastman Auto & Power Limited, the programme trains women to own and operate E-Rickshaws, creating a sustainable livelihood that works around their lives.
Beneficiaries include single mothers, widows, and unmarried women who use their earnings to fund their children's education, manage household expenses, and repay debts. With an average monthly income of ₹15,000, each woman who takes the wheel becomes a driver of change, for herself and her family.

Miyawaki Urban Forest, Ludhiana
Turning Wasteland into Woodland
What was once a 5,500+ sq. yd landfill in Ludhiana is being reclaimed as a living urban forest. In partnership with the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation, the JRS Eastman Group is developing a ₹1 crore Miyawaki forest, planting native species at high density (3–5 trees per sq. m) to create forests that grow faster and support greater biodiversity than conventional plantations.
Initiated in early 2025 and inspired by Prime Minister Modi's "Mann Ki Baat" sustainability vision, the project improves air quality, soil health, and ecological balance across an urbanized zone.
- Project Investment: ₹1 crore
- Area: 5,500+ sq. yds
- Density: 3–5 trees per sq. m
- Phase 2: Punjab-wide

Tree Plantation Drives
Planting Today for a Greener Tomorrow.
Eastman's environmental commitment extends beyond its products into the communities where it operates. Through large-scale plantation drives with leading green organizations, the company works to enrich biodiversity, improve air quality, and build climate resilience around its manufacturing units and partner communities.
In FY2025–26, two drives were conducted: with Grow Billion Trees on Earth Day — 22 April 2025 — at Tikli Village, Haryana, mobilising 100 planters; and with the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation on 28 August 2025 at IFFCO Chowk, bringing together 500 planters. Each drive is proof that business growth and ecological responsibility are not competing priorities.

- Drives: 2
- Partners: Grow Billion Trees, Shikhar Dhawan Foundation
