Pioneering year of the group as our Chairman, Mr. J.R. Singal sets up a cycle component manufacturing facility in Ludhiana, Punjab and incorporates Eastman Industries LTD as a first step to professionalise the operations. Looking at the rapid growth of India's cycle industry and the nation moving towards being self-reliant, Mr. Singal had a visionary approach of contributing to the cause.

Eastman Cast and Forge LTD, an ISO certified company, was incorporated to manufacture and export world class hand tools conforming to international standards. The company has grown tremendously and has established a name for itself in more than 40 countries and with major automotive manufacturers around the world.

With years of experience in Manufacturing and Exports, the company started expanding into new business areas. Huge investments were made into manufacturing and R&D to produce and sell top of the line Energy Storage and Renewable Energy solutions along with the export of Automotive and Spare Parts.

With a sudden rise in focus on Environmental sustainability, the pressure was now on Automotive Manufacturers to look for alternate solutions. Eastman New Energy Private LTD was incorporated to Develop, Manufacture and Sell highly advanced, customized, and future ready Automotive Battery packs.

Redefining customer centricity, the company identified issues that the customers were having with EV charging solutions and Power Backup solution. Eastman Power Technologies Pvt Ltd was launched to tackle these issues and set new benchmarks in the industry.
